  1. You know what I overheard?

“Kerry looks weird. He doesn’t have the face of a president.” A guy said.

    I was speechless.

    Jean
A friend said that the stupid mass is there to be manipulated. This election just showed that Republicans are better at manipulating them than the Democrats, so get over it and get to work. Do better next time.

  2. Jean,

What do you think about Iris Chang’s suicide?

I was shocked when I read it on the newspaper this morning. “The Rape of Nanking” is a great book!

    Jean
No comments, I’m afraid. Because I know absolutely nothing about her. There are not much in the news regarding her suicide either. Do you know of a good site on her?

  3. I read two of her three published books: The Rape of Nanking and The Chinese in America. Both are very good. I am sure your public library have both. Her first book: THREAD OF THE SILKWORM is a biography of Qian, Xuesen(Tsien Hsue-shen), father of Chinese rocketry and spaceflight.

Here is some links about Iris Chang:

Interesting enough, I also found this site built by some Japanese about the errors in Chang’s book, at least, what they think it’s wrong:
