  1. Boy oh boy, do I love such topics!!! I told you I’m a language freak, didn’t I? 🙂

I think the correct one should be “every day.” I’ve always paid extra attention not to write “everyday” when I mean “every day.” Like that David said, “everyday” is an adjective, as in “everyday conversation”, “everyday life” and so on.

Another pet peeve of mine: so many people write “it’s” when they actually mean “its.” It just bugs the hell out of me.

Also, as picky as that David is, he uses “different than” instead of “different from.” Ha, he’s so busted. 🙂

  2. Aha! So it should be “its”! I’ve been wondering about that. Thanks! Very cool. An English teacher in house! 🙂 I definitely have lots of grammer questions…I just can’t think of any right now. :6

I’ve seen http://www.ljcfyi.com before. It is a bit too fancy/girlie for me. I seem to like wordy ones right now.

If you like languages, have you seen this?
http://glosses.net/indexold.php (I like her webpage layout. Very neat.)
    or this?

I think they are both linguists. At least they link to lots of linguists. 🙂
